Dear All – Hate Mail.

I am not going to glorify the writer of the email I received this week by reprinting their message here, but I thought I should tell you about the contents.

Since I posted my forum message asking about the Gay Days a couple of days ago, I can only assume Google has picked it up because I got a spew of bile form a ‘Concerned Christian’ and using a disposable email address. Apparently by linking to a article that this person thought was perfectly acceptable and I described as ‘Challenging’ – but if I am honest found to be a racist, homophobic pile of tosh – I offended him. That and the fact some members of the community are not heterosexual.

So I would like to say this to the writer - ‘Sorry’…
‘Sorry’ that you cannot have the decency to give your name,
‘Sorry’ you're scared to leave your contact details
‘Sorry’ you don't have the nerve to give me any right to reply to you in an reasonable fashion. And
‘Sorry’ that you cannot accept that people who are different from you have the right to live, breath and declare their sexuality openly.
Most of all I feel ‘Sorry’ for you.
