Guest: When will the hub rotate?
CM: I'm sorry? What do you mean?
Guest: You know, when will the hub rotate so that we all get a chance to get a front view of the castle?
CM: I'm sorry ma'm the hub doesn't rotate at all.
Guest: *to her walkie talky* You guys lied to me, the hub doesn't rotate! I just asked a cast member! *walks away frustrated*
CM: It's a Magical Day at Disney World - this is Joy how may I help you?
G: Hi uh ya - we're heading over to the Pleasure Island there and we're gonna be leaving our kids at the Magic Kingdom for the day, we have those Park Hoppers so we figured we'd just meet them somewhere like "In Front" of the Castle right - is that the best place to meet your kids?
CM: Well - first let me see if I understand, you're planning on leaving your children unattended at the Magic Kingdom - how old are they?
G: They're 9 & 11 so we know - as wonderful a place as Disney is they'd be just fine on their own.
(Puts call on background hold and has a few 'moments' to compose, sad that the 'unattended' comment didn't sink in...)
CM: So, if I understand correctly you're planning on leaving your two children completely unattended for some period of time at the park and you would like to know where to meet them at the end of that time?
G: Oh don't worry we'll give them money to use! Yes, that's it!
CM: Might I suggest a sitting service or planning a tour for them instead?
G: Couldn't we just meet them in front of that big Castle thing?
CM: There are two sides to the Castle and both could 'appear' to be the front - many people who try to meet there never find each other because that is where most people attempt to meet - therefore being a very densely populated spot.
G: Ok so what other location should we meet them at?
(Puts call back on background hold with a few choice thoughts of alarm..)
CM: I'm sorry but please let me be completely honest with you, it is not suggested to ever leave underage children alone in the parks. Might I connect you with your resort manager's office to fully explain this further? (Figuring if they're unfit parents and the kids get lost or napped that the manager would have a heads up.)

Conversation goes on another five minutes - the parents were literally not willing to believe that they needed to be with their children while at Disney - leading me to realize that some parents are so uh enamored with the Disney experience that they are rendered incapable of realizing that anyone can buy a ticket and be there - regardless of how great or wonderful the parks are or the cast members are... And these are usually the same parents who wanted me to connect their kids with Mickey Mouse so they would finally settle down and go to sleep. (They believe in Mickey enough to ask to speak to him but they are going to be 'ok' alone... hmm.)

Having our hair done together at the Poly - She points at the area below my neck and says: "Is that really 'all you Dear'?" - Mrs Eisner
I mean really - are you serious? (We can't say that but thats what our faces surely say...)
Generally when I heard this question you brought up - I was at one of the points in Epcot where some of the fireworks were shot off from (near the main medical station) and inside the fence from the back cast entrance just off the Wastewater Plant and the noise was so deafening that you could hear the pop as the explosive left the tubes and it made your lungs rattle.
