Fix List - From Facebook contacts

I sent a mail out to my Disney Cast Member friends on Facebook asking your help in trouble shooting the site. As fellow social networking enthusiasts and Disney employees my fellow “Facebookers” are possibly the ideal group to road test the site. As I get feedback I'll work out solutions and post the fixes on this page.

Problem: Christer pointed out that there was an issue with the date of birth entry in the “Edit Profile”.
Status - Fixed:
I added a drop down calendar to fix the issue. This way there can be no confusion between American and European ways of writing the date.

Problem: A couple of people report that the automatic email sent out to confirm your email address hasn’t arrived and that you cannot then get into the site to edit your account.
Status - Open:
I have had a look at our mail settings and it looks good from our end. What I think is happening is that some email providers like hotmail seem to have issues with mail that it thinks might be spam mail. If you are looking for your mail please check your junk / spam boxes on your account just in case.

Problem: Some people were having trouble adding a photo… and others had their photos shrunk to a much smaller size…
Status - Fixed:
It took a while but it is done! Firstly the photos are added in the “Edit Account” section, not in the “Edit Profile” area as some people thought. And as for the cropping of the photos I have tweaked that a little too… I hope it works out!
