Gay Days - Need your feedback please.

In the process of writing some of the articles I have recently published on the site I have been looking around at the Disney myth, the clean shaven all American image that prevails.
As a part of my research I often like to take a look at the opposite side of any coin. So having typed “Evil, Walt Disney World” into Google I opened up a whole wrath of Christian sites challenging Disney’s position re homosexuality.
Comments on “ABC-TV's Ellen DeGeneris' (read: DeGenerate's)” (their words not mine) were common and the other comments were predominantly focused on the "Gay Days" at Walt Disney World. As do comments such as “Disney, under Michael Eisner, has abandoned traditional family values to promote the perversions of the homo agenda”.
At this point I must for the record point out that I am neither homosexual nor do I practice any form of religion, - what I am is curious about the whole debate and I would like to understand this most American of conflicts. In Europe there is not really a right wing Religious lobby and in my experience there were a lot of openly gay people working for the Mouse in Paris and this whole outpouring of anti homosexual fervour is alien over here in Europe.
I think an opinion piece from another side of this debate might be good to read especially as the Walt Disney Company is, I think quite rightly, sitting this one out. I'd like your feedback on-
* How are the Gay Days in the resorts viewed by the public?
* How are the Gay Days seen from the Cast Member point of view?
* Do members of the public go to City Hall and complain?
If anyone has a point of view or reply to this that they don’t wish to air in the forums for employment reasons please drop me a line through the contact link at the top of the page and I’ll look into posting your comments anonymously for you.
Anyone?
Thinking back I do remeber hearing that Disney offered white tee-shirts to any Guest who had turned up in a red tee by acident on the Gay Days and complained at City Hall.
This is just hear say though and I cannot vouch that it is true.
BTW the article quoted is a scary read... Half of the comments made in the article would probably get the writer in a lot of hot water in the UK.
As you can see from the post on the home page I got a sort of reply to my question. I would still like to here from you guys though. I need a little perspective for an article I am writing. Many thanks.
