It's great when you realize

Here's a great story that happend to me the other day...
I was talking with a woman about Disney because she saw my Mickey Mouse ring I where on my finger all the time. So we got talking about all the great things at Disney World and how I used to work there and did a lot thing and yet still didn't do it all. Come to find out she was in Florida and Disney World November of 2008 same time I was down there. So I asked her where she stayed because I used to work in one of the resorts and she couldn't remember off the top of her head. Well we continued to talk and she started describing her room and the resort and me being a Disney know it all asked "Did you stay at Disney's Old Key West Resort" and she said yes!! I could believe that I had actually met someone at home in Nebraska who was staying at the resort I worked in while I was down there at the same time! I told her I'm sure I probably saw here there : )
How crazy is that, that I had the chance to meet someone who stayed where I worked and loved it!! It was great to hear her talk about Disney and what a great time she had...it made my day.
Just thought I would share...
I had a similar moment at Disney - In Paris, if a Guest lost their bank card in an ATM in the parks Guest Relations could retrieve the card and with the proper proofs and in the right circumstances return them to the Guests.
One sunny afternoon a Guest was filling in the paperwork to get her card back (she had messed up the pin code after getting confused by the French instructions on the ATM) I read her form, checked her passport and her Tour Operator credentials as the two forms of ID and retuned her card. Then I asked if, when she got home could she pop to her next door neighbor at number 11 and wish my Grandmother a Happy Birthday from me!
It turned out the Guest – Paula – brought groups on tours to the resort around once a month, and after that every once in a while I would get a care package from Granny!
