Just Back from DLRP
Hi all
Just returned back from Paris, we had a fantastic time!!!
The park was a beautiful as ever and I was so happy to be back!!!! Had plenty of beers in the Sports Bar and one or 2 cocktails in Billy Bobs.
The management at Santa Fe gave us a free Stitch Teddy and some extra amenities in the room as it was our honey moon, and our hotel card was a VIP card so we didn't have to queue for Breakfast ( not sure if it gave us anything else...but didn't want to ask)
The park was fairly quiet, but not in a bad way.... plenty of people around but no lines for the rides...we went on everything and somethings like BTM we went on it 9 times!!!!Only once for me though..I think they had speeded it up lol
I am not good on rollercoasters and was happy to go on Crushes coaster for kids over in the studios but OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!! It was terryfying , so much so I had to go and lie down after wards in the medical centre ha ha!!!!!
Saw all our fave characters and princesses and Dannan had a ball this year as she was a little older and enjoyed more attractions, she even went on Tower of Terror!!!
We had lunch in The Blue Lagoon which I enjoyed a lot then afterwards went on POTC and it broke down!!! They had to stop the musicx and turn on the lights and rescue us!!!! Men in waders came out and dragged our boat back to safety!!! Great fun altogether!! Of course we were on it another 6 times during the holiday!!
Ate again in Inventions on our final night, was a little disappointed this time as our table was away from the main room in a little off shoot place, I didn't like the atmos as much , however the characters were amazing as usual.
Cast Member wise, a little hit and miss to be honest....some got into thier roles well on the attractions but most I found again were not great. The cast in the sports bar I found a little dour too.
Still an amazing place to be, though I think they need to get a few more Europeans other than French working there during the quieter times as it offers a better mix of personalities.
