I have just been Reading the early chapters of James B. Stewart’s Disney War and Roy features heavily as you might expect.
It paints a picture of Roy from a young boy playing on his uncles 1/8 scale rail road with Nancy Sinatra. Taking his story through his years in the company and describing him as a quiet, reserved, honourable man, much beloved of his colleges in the animation building who referred to him affectionately as the Shepherd.
Reading these chapters just after his passing was a little emotional.
