Site promotion and the elusive Googlejuice!

Site promotion… ok i get but… Google what? The time has come to start promoting the site to a larger audience. I am sending out emails to bloggers, site owners and news groups left, right and centre, all to get more Googlejuice.

So I’d better explain the nerdy word huh? To get the community more widely known to our fellow Cast Members we have to get up there in Google’s rankings. There are many ways to do this, most involve “spamming” Google, which is not a wise or healthy idea, they tend to get a little miffed and cut you out of the search results! So I am aiming to do this the hard way… quality content, using good key words like, Disney, Cast Member, Vista Way, Magic and Community where appropriate and getting other respected sites to link to us and thus add to our Googlejuice.

So here’s the plan if you have a Blog, MySpace, Mebo or Facebook account could you think about adding the following code to your page… all it will do is add a link back to the site and promote After the Mouse by adding your Googlejuice to the pot.
