Hire The Best, Hire an Ex Disney Cast Member!

We are or were Disney Cast Members, the best in the business, world famous for creativity, service and commitment to quality!

BUT the economy is slowing down, the Mouse can’t afford to keep us all on and some of us are looking for work, this is good news for the employers out there who need the skills that fully trained Disney Professionals can bring to their businesses!

I and After the Mouse.com want to do what we can to help. So I invite those of you who are already members and looking for work to post a simple statement of your skills, -the ones you learned from the best darned Service company in the world- and we’ll publish them here on the site, then we, together will work our keyboards and get those resumes promoted all over the web!

Watch this space! I’ll let you know when, where and how to post your resume over the next few days!

Update -
Should be able to add the new feature to the site in the next 48 hours. It will mean joining the site then adding a new content page to the site in a similar way to adding a forum post.

2nd Update

Apparently might be a little more tricky than I thought. Apparently there might be an issue about posting a jobs wanted section on my site. There is a feeling that if I set up my site as a ‘job agency’ there may be issues… it may be an issue for real employment agencies. But there are three things working in our favour.

1: the site is based and hosted in the UK
2: Friends and fellow CM’s are more important! Which leads to:-
3: I don’t really care, lets do it!

So as I see it if you join the After the Mouse Cast Member community and then post a “Hire a Cast Member” page then hey – it is an announcement to the community that others (potential employers) can read.

In the next couple of days I’ll get the job listing page set up… in the mean time if you want to participate then use the intervening time to sign up and I’ll post a notice when the job page is ready to go. http://afterthemouse.com/user/register
