WDW - Parks - Epcot - Merchandise

Hi everyone! I worked at the following locations during my days at WDW:

*Animal Kingdom ODF from 5/2000 to 6/2001

*EPCOT Food & Beverage during the 2000 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival

*Disney-MGM Studios Left Block Merchandise from 6/2001 to 8/2002.

*EPCOT Towers Merchandise at World Showcase occasionally in 2001 to 2002 taking extra shifts.

I enjoyed my time at WDW during my two years there but unfortunately due to some uncontrollable factors that all hit at once in the last month or two I hesitantly made the decision to leave WDW in August of 2002.

Post-Mouse I entered Flight Operations school and that's now my career. As my ex-girlfriend who worked with me at Leftblock Merchandise once said: "The Sky's the Limit!"

I worked at the stroller and wheelchair rental area at EPCOT then opened Disney's Animal Kingdom. I was a trainer. I worked there 1996 to 1999

I am a college student who drives buses for the school district during the school year and works at Walt Disney World in the Merchantainment position at EPCOT during the summer. I am working to recieve my bachelor of science in Computer Information Science in hopes of recieving a full time postion with Disney.

I began as a CP in the Spring of 2007. I loved it so much I became full time in July since I was already graduated from college. But, as time went on, I missed my family and friends and moved back home February 2008. I am still seasonal though! When I work, I work in Epcot in FWS either at Pin Central, Club Cool, or Art of Disney.

I'm originally from Wales in the UK. I gained a bachelors degree in music in 2007... after graduation I had the classic post-graduating job nightmare. I really couldn't find that ideal musicians job I wanted. Then my mind wandered to travelling and I had always known about the international programs they ran in Disney World, Florida. Seemed like a perfect travelling experience!

So I applied to the year long program at Epcot... got offered a completely different position and that's where my career originally began with the Walt Disney Company.

In October 2007 I became a Christmas temp at the Disney Store in Cardiff, while I was waiting to go to Florida. I left Cardiff in January 2008 to do the International College Program at Disney World. I ended up in a merchandise position in the futureworld area of Epcot. Pin Central, Club Cool, Art of Disney.

I was bitter at first being denied the opportunity to audition for entertainment but I made the most of the role and I'm not sure any other experience will ever match the memories I made there. I was very sad to leave so many great people behind when I returned to the UK in August 2008.

Right now I'm back at the Disney Store, Cardiff but I have a position with Disney Cruise Line and will be joining them in the coming months.

I always knew I was going to work for an entertainment company and Disney seem like the perfect match for me.

My favourite Disney character is Abu from Aladdin!

Let's see I started at EPCOT in 2000 on the Spring CP program. . . I worked at the front of the park in Future World at all the retail locations.

Then I went full time in '04 at the Contemp as a Lifeguard

'06 I went to a vendor and Managed at MK.

Now I'm at Allstar in Retail again. . . I've had a good run :)

I used to work at EPCOT in Towers and Glow, The best place ever!!!!!!!!! I could see the fire works every night and it was soooo magical to see everyone so happy to be there watching and having a lifetime experience!
