walt has been my idol since i was young. everything the disney company has done has been my benchmark for quality in everything i do! visited disneyland first in 1969, then the disney world preview center in 1970 and of course opening year for disney world. since them i have been back to the parks constantly. now as a disney store cast member i will visit the parks with a new appreciation and a new way to see the world 8:)

My name is Melissa I've been a cast member at the Disney Store in sunderland since October 2011.

I love my job!

I`ve just become a "Disney Retiree" !! I have worked in a UK Disney Store for just over 15 years.
I worked in both the Guildford and Reading stores
It has been such a fun experience ,meeting so many people and having the chance to pass on the "Disney Magic" to both new cast members and guests.
I have also had a time at our head office which was amazing .

I just recently joined Disney as a cast member in the UK, in a Disney Store. Besides being always a movie buff, Disney was always really close to my heart and working for the Mouse was a dream the came true in August 2010.
I'm originally from Hungary but I live in Brighton for two and a half years now. I've been to Disneyland Paris once in 2005 and my heart (and my soul) is longing to get back there ever since. I've only spent two days there but I felt like I belong there. So ever since I'm working really hard towards my newest dream, to be able to go to Disneyland with my girlfriend who never been there.

I work in the Disney store Livingston and loving it been there since september 2009.

I am a former Disney Store Cast member and I'm now the host of the Disney Brit podcast, the only UK based Disney Podcast and the only Podcast online that devotes time specifically to Disneyland Paris. You can find the show via iTunes

I just returned to the UK after the most amazing summer on the ICP08 working in entertainment with my best friends Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Lilo, Stitch and Dopey!
I met some really very brilliant people and hope to stay in touch with more than a handful if possible!

all about me!

I'm originally from Wales in the UK. I gained a bachelors degree in music in 2007... after graduation I had the classic post-graduating job nightmare. I really couldn't find that ideal musicians job I wanted. Then my mind wandered to travelling and I had always known about the international programs they ran in Disney World, Florida. Seemed like a perfect travelling experience!

So I applied to the year long program at Epcot... got offered a completely different position and that's where my career originally began with the Walt Disney Company.

In October 2007 I became a Christmas temp at the Disney Store in Cardiff, while I was waiting to go to Florida. I left Cardiff in January 2008 to do the International College Program at Disney World. I ended up in a merchandise position in the futureworld area of Epcot. Pin Central, Club Cool, Art of Disney.

I was bitter at first being denied the opportunity to audition for entertainment but I made the most of the role and I'm not sure any other experience will ever match the memories I made there. I was very sad to leave so many great people behind when I returned to the UK in August 2008.

Right now I'm back at the Disney Store, Cardiff but I have a position with Disney Cruise Line and will be joining them in the coming months.

I always knew I was going to work for an entertainment company and Disney seem like the perfect match for me.

My favourite Disney character is Abu from Aladdin!
