Cast Members running the Resorts leisure facilities, whether that's the gym, tennis, ice rink or pool - in fact any number of facilities are what can make one resort more desirable than another.
Lifeguards are always appreciated when guests physically see them jump into the water and save someone's life, but not when they are just monitoring the pool. It might seem like lifeguarding is an "easy" job, allowing the cast members to hang out by the pool all day, but they are constantly looking at the entire swimming area to ensure guest safety, all while subjecting themselves to the elements.
